2. Scope
These Terms of Sale govern every order placed on shop-eu.ad-gliders.com. By placing an order you accept them in full. They apply to consumers and to end users buying for their own use. Orders from professional resellers and dealers are governed by a separate agreement and are placed through the dedicated B2B shop, not through this one.
We may amend these Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the moment your order is placed.
3. Products
Only the products actually displayed in this shop are available for online purchase. Our full range remains available through our dealer network.
Product descriptions, photographs and colour renderings are provided in good faith and as accurately as we can. Minor variations in shade or finish between a screen image and the delivered item do not constitute a defect.
Availability is indicated on each product page. Where an item is shown as available to order without being in stock, the indicated lead time applies.
4. Intended use and safety
Our products are technical equipment for free flight and mountain sports. Paragliders, rescue parachutes and harnesses are intended exclusively for use by pilots holding the qualifications required in their country, trained on the equipment class concerned, and operating within the certified weight range and configuration of the product.
Certified products are delivered in the configuration in which they were tested and certified — including, where applicable, under EN 926-1. Any modification, repair or component substitution carried out outside AirDesign or an approved service centre voids certification and warranty.
You are responsible for carrying out the pre-flight checks and the periodic inspections set out in the manual delivered with the product. AirDesign Europe SAS accepts no liability for damage arising from use that does not comply with the manual, from missed inspections, or from use of the equipment outside its intended purpose.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of French VAT at the applicable rate, and exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed before you confirm your order.
For deliveries to other European Union member states, VAT is charged at the rate applicable in the country of destination in accordance with the applicable distance-selling rules.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed at the moment the order is confirmed.
6. Placing an order
You select your items, review your basket, enter your billing and delivery details, choose a delivery method, and confirm payment. Before final confirmation you can review and correct your order at every step.
Your order becomes binding once payment is confirmed. We then send you an order confirmation by email, summarising the items, the total price and the delivery address. We recommend you keep it.
We may refuse or cancel an order in the event of a manifest pricing error, suspected fraudulent use of a means of payment, an unpaid balance on a previous order, or a delivery address we cannot serve.
7. Payment
Payment is made online by card through our payment provider Stripe. Card details are entered on a secure page and are never stored by AirDesign.
Your order is processed once payment has been authorised. No order is shipped before payment has been received in full.
8. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. If no delivery method is available for your address, your order cannot be completed — please contact us and we will direct you to the nearest dealer.
Indicative delivery times are [LEAD TIMES BY ZONE], running from dispatch. These times are indicative and not guaranteed; a delay does not in itself give rise to compensation, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
Risk passes to you when the goods are physically handed over. On delivery, please check the condition of the parcel. If it is damaged, note your reservations precisely on the carrier's document and inform us within [NUMBER] days, with photographs.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have fourteen (14) days from the day you or a third party designated by you takes physical possession of the goods to withdraw from your purchase, without giving any reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right, notify us of your decision before the deadline expires, by any unambiguous statement sent to [SHOP@AD-GLIDERS.COM], or by using the standard withdrawal form available [HERE / AT THIS LINK].
You must return the goods to [RETURN ADDRESS] without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us. Return shipping costs are borne by [YOU / US — STATE WHICH]. Goods must be returned complete, unused, in their original packaging, with all documentation and accessories.
We will refund all sums paid, including the standard outbound delivery cost, no later than fourteen (14) days after we recover the goods or receive evidence that they have been sent, using the same means of payment you used. Your refund may be reduced to reflect any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods — in particular, equipment that has been flown.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — including custom colour layouts and made-to-order wings — nor to sealed goods unsuitable for return for reasons of hygiene once unsealed.
10. Legal guarantees
All our products are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity and the statutory guarantee against hidden defects provided for under French law, independently of any commercial warranty.
Under the guarantee of conformity you have two (2) years from delivery to bring a claim, and you may choose between repair and replacement, subject to the cost conditions provided by law. Under the guarantee against hidden defects you have two (2) years from discovery of the defect.
In addition, we grant a commercial warranty of [DURATION] on [SCOPE], under the conditions set out [HERE / AT THIS LINK]. The commercial warranty does not restrict your statutory rights in any way.
Consumables and normal wear — [LIST: LINE WEAR, PRINTING, ZIPPERS, ETC.] — as well as damage resulting from accident, improper storage, unauthorised repair or use that does not comply with the manual, are excluded from the commercial warranty.
11. Personal data
Personal data collected when you create an account or place an order is processed by AirDesign Europe SAS as controller, for the purposes of order management, delivery, invoicing, after-sales service and, where you have consented, commercial communication. Full details of the processing, the retention periods and how to exercise your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy on this page.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this site — trade marks, logos, product names, texts, photographs, videos and technical drawings — is the property of AirDesign or of its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or use without our prior written consent is prohibited.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
For any question or complaint, contact us first at [SHOP@AD-GLIDERS.COM]. We undertake to reply within [NUMBER] working days and to look for a practical solution.
If our reply does not resolve the matter, and if you are a consumer, you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer ombudsman: [NAME OF THE MEDIATOR — MANDATORY IN FRANCE], [POSTAL ADDRESS], [WEBSITE]. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural events, fire, flood, strike, transport disruption, or interruption of supply or telecommunications.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer resident in another European Union member state of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
